Tours
in the Land of Ravana
Walk the sacred soil where the epic unfolded. From Ravana's ancient caves to Sita's grove of captivity — follow the mythic trail across Sri Lanka's mountains, coasts and jungles.
The Epic Tale Comes to Life
Sri Lanka is a country rich in history and mythology, and one of its most captivating legends is the Ramayana. The great Hindu epic tells the story of Lord Rama, his devoted wife Sita, and their quest to rescue her from the demon king Ravana — who ruled this very island.
While the tale spans two civilisations, Sri Lanka holds the most tangible Ramayana evidence in the world. Sacred temples, mysterious caves, ancient waterfalls, and sacred groves — each with a direct connection to the epic — await your discovery across this breathtaking island.
Our Ramayana tours take you to these actual places, bringing the mythic tale vividly to life in the landscapes where it unfolded thousands of years ago.
